The surroundings are a mix of small villages, beaches and waterfalls, and the guesthouse is not on the sand: the nearest beach is several kilometres away. Phang Nga province is known for the limestone islands of its bay, so day trips often combine coast and countryside.

Around the property, the Night Food Market is 800 m away and makes an easy option for an evening meal. Khao Pilai Beach is 4.8 km away, with Bang Kwan Beach and La Toh Bay also nearby, and the Phu Pha Sawan waterfall is 6.3 km away. Ban Don and Ban Khuan are villages within a few kilometres, and the Benyaran Museum is also nearby. The villages give a good idea of everyday life in the area.

Free parking is available at the guesthouse, so a car is the simplest way to reach the beaches and waterfalls. A good day could start on Khao Pilai Beach, continue to the Phu Pha Sawan waterfall and finish at the Night Food Market back near the guesthouse. Ton Prai Waterfall is further afield, for a longer outing.
