Baan Havaree Resort offers several room types in Ao Nang, from single and double rooms to queen and king rooms and a triple room. Some rooms measure 38 m² and others 45 m², and a few have a mountain view.

Ao Nang Beach is 1.7 km away, and the bay is busy with longtail boats. Railay, 4.7 km away, is reached only by boat from Ao Nang and is known for its limestone cliffs and quiet beaches. Local evening markets are close to the resort, and the Krabi Elephant Shelter is a short drive along the coast. The local Muslim neighbourhood is right beside the resort, with its own evening market and a mosque within a few hundred metres.

For a day out, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.8 km away, is a hillside temple where a climb of stairs leads up to the cave shrines. Krabi International Airport is 19.3 km away, so most guests reach Ao Nang by road from there. Boat trips from Ao Nang are a natural way to explore the bay and the limestone coast, and in the evening the night markets of Ao Nang are busy with food stalls.
