Baan Habeebee Resort

The rooms at Baan Habeebee Resort range from a superior room, a deluxe room and a studio to bungalows and villas, and several of them look onto the pool or the garden. Air conditioning, balconies and terraces, and private bathrooms appear in many of the rooms.

Bathtubs, kitchenettes and a private entrance appear in some of the bungalows and villas, and one villa sleeps up to eight guests. The studio sleeps up to two guests and has a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace and a pool view. Some rooms add a sofa, a dining table or BBQ facilities, and the bungalows have king beds.

Nopparat Thara is the stretch of Krabi's Andaman coast that runs along Ao Nang, a beach area with a lively strip of shops, cafés, tour agencies and street-food stalls. The beach is a short walk from the resort, and the area works well for those who want sand and sea by day and an evening market close by when the sun goes down.

Noppharat Thara Beach is 650 m from the resort, Ao Nang Beach is 2 km away, and Railay Beach is 5.1 km away, reached only by longtail boat. Railay is known for its limestone cliffs and for Phra Nang Cave, a cave beach 6.3 km from the hotel. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple reached by a long staircase, is 15.3 km away, and the Wednesday Evening Market is a short walk off.

A good day can start with a swim at Noppharat Thara Beach, followed by a longtail boat ride to Railay. Poda Island and Tup Island are also day trips from Ao Nang, though boat trips can be cancelled in rough seas during the monsoon, so it is worth keeping a spare day for the islands. For a full day on the water, snorkelling and diving trips can be added to the island visits.
