Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort & Villa

Every room at Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort & Villa has a private bathroom with a bathtub, and bathrobes are provided in all of them. Several rooms look onto the garden, and one villa has a sea view. In some rooms the bathroom also has a shower with an adjustable hand-held wand alongside the bathtub.

The standard and superior rooms measure between 30 m² and 45 m², and the villas between 50 m² and 150 m². Beds are a king bed or two single beds, depending on the room. Every room sleeps two or three guests, and the resort has pool villas alongside its standard and superior rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a private beach, along with a fitness centre, a hot tub and massage. A library, a garden and a terrace are also on the property.

Diving, snorkelling, canoeing and non-motorised water sports are available, and the resort also offers tours, car hire and a shuttle service for guests who want to explore the island and its beaches.

Restaurants, a coffee shop, a poolside bar and a snack bar sit on the property, with buffet breakfast at an additional charge per person. The resort sits on Chaweng Beach in the Bophut area of Koh Samui, an island in the Gulf of Thailand where sandy bays alternate with low hills and fishing villages. The island has resorts and villas along most of its coasts, and the resort has its own private beach on the shoreline here. Most visitors arrive through Samui Airport, which is close to the resort.

Nora Beach is 550 m away, and Chaweng Yai is a further sandy bay at 1.7 km. Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, lies around 3.5 km along the coast, and Samui Airport is 1.6 km from the resort. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary is also in Bophut, a short drive from the resort.

The Big Buddha, one of the island's best-known landmarks, is 3.8 km away on a hill above Bophut, and a good day out can continue to Fisherman's Village, the old waterfront village in Bophut, before a walk back along the shore. The statue is a popular stop for visitors touring the island. Na Muang Waterfall lies in the island's interior, reached by road from the coast, so it makes a different kind of outing from a day on the sand.
