Rooms at Baan Boom Boxes Resort include king and queen bed rooms, several of them with a mountain view. The De Luxe King Room and the Baan Boom 1, 2 and 3 rooms measure 23 m², the De Luxe Double Bed Room and the Standard King Room measure 18 m², and the Guest Room(B) measures 20 m².

The rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, a bathtub, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a balcony or terrace, a desk, a seating area and a closet. Several rooms sleep up to four guests, satellite and cable channels are available in the rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The island's airport is on Koh Samui itself, so the last stage of a trip by air needs no boat.

Bo Phut Beach is 1.6 km away, the nearest stretch of sand to the resort. Fisherman's Village, 2.2 km from the resort, is a restored old fishing quarter with a walking street of small shops and cafés. The Samui Water Park Pink Elephant is next door, and the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Samui, an elephant sanctuary, is a short distance away. Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue on a hilltop temple, is 5.6 km away from the resort.

A good day could start with Big Buddha in the morning, then a walk through Fisherman's Village in the late afternoon, with time at Bo Phut Beach. Na Muang Waterfall, 9.4 km away in the island's interior, is a longer trip, so a rented car or scooter makes it easier to combine it with the temples and the beach.
