Haad Ao Mae beach is 200 m from the hotel, and the Lomprayah Koh Tao ferry pier is 350 m away. Sairee Beach, 500 m away, is the island's best-known beach for diving, with dive schools along its sand, and Sai Nuan Beach is 1.6 km away.

A good day here starts with a swim at Haad Ao Mae, then a boat trip to Koh Nang Yuan, a small island 3.8 km away that is a popular day trip. Diving and snorkelling are the usual activities on the island, and a viewpoint above Sairee Beach gives a wide view over the bay. In the rainy months, rough sea can stop boat crossings to and from the island, so the day's plans may need to change at short notice.
