Koh Kwang Beach, 250 m from the apartment, and Klong Muang Beach, 350 m away, are the closest beaches, and both are a short walk through the village. Ao Nang Beach, 7.5 km away, is the main beach of the resort area, and from there boats reach Railay, 10.3 km away, with its limestone cliffs, and the Hong Islands further offshore. The Tiger Cave Temple, a hilltop temple reached by a long staircase, lies near Krabi town.

A good day starts on the beach at Koh Kwang or Klong Muang and continues with a boat trip from Ao Nang to Railay or the Hong Islands. The Klong Muang Sunday and Tuesday Market is a local option for the afternoon, and the Ao Nang Night Market is in the resort area for the evening, so a second night out is easy to arrange. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, mainly in the rainy season.
