Art-C house

Rooms can have air conditioning, a clothes rack, a hair dryer, a mirror, toiletries, slippers, a flat-screen TV and free bottled water. Free Wi-Fi is available in every room, daily housekeeping is provided, and the front desk is open 24 hours.

The Standard Room measures 15 m², with a double bed and a city view, and sleeps up to two guests. The Standard Room 1 Double Bed at Art-C house sleeps up to three guests.

The 24-hour front desk is open round the clock, with room service, a coffee shop and restaurants on the premises. Continental breakfast is offered, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

Art-C house is on Phuket Road in Phuket Town, the capital of Phuket Province and the island's administrative centre. The old town has Sino-Portuguese shophouses along its narrow streets, Chinese shrines and a mix of local shops and cafés. Thalang Road runs through the old town, and its shophouses are best explored on foot. The area is a different base from the beach resorts on the west coast, and its everyday life is close at hand.

Talad Kaset market is 300 m away, a local market for everyday shopping, and the Phuket Town local bus station is 700 m away. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 27.6 km away. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples, is 7.1 km away, and Patong Beach, on the west coast, is 10.9 km away.

A day could start with a walk through Phuket Town's old shophouses and the Phuket Trickeye Museum, then continue by taxi or hired car to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, which sits on the hills near Chalong. Karon Beach, a long stretch of sand on the west coast south of Patong, can be visited later in the afternoon. Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, and the beaches and temples of the island are all reached by road.
