Rooms at ARKbar Beach Club&Resort - Adults Only come as deluxe and premier doubles and twins. Some overlook the garden and others have a view of the pool, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms have a separate bathtub, and a few have a telephone and an electric kettle.

Double rooms have one queen bed or one double bed, and twin rooms have two single beds. Room sizes run from 16 to 30 m², and every room sleeps up to two guests. Several rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The resort is for adults only.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, with a poolside bar, a bar and a nightclub on site, plus on-site entertainment. A spa offers massage and sauna, and there is a fitness centre.

A 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, laundry service, ironing and daily housekeeping are available, along with a gift and souvenir shop and cash withdrawal. Car hire, tours, a taxi service, concierge and an airport transfer are also offered.

Restaurants offer a la carte dishes, international cuisine, salads, desserts and BBQ facilities, and there is a coffee shop. Room service, food delivery and grocery delivery are also available. All of these are on site.

The resort sits in Chaweng, the main beach area on the east coast of Koh Samui, where a long sandy bay meets a strip of restaurants, bars and shops. Chaweng Yai Beach is 400 m from the resort, so the sea is close by, and the area suits guests who want the island's evening life close to the sand, with a long bay for swimming.

The Night Market is 500 m away and the Walking Street 700 m, with street food and evening stalls. Both are an easy walk from the resort. Further afield, the Big Buddha temple sits 4.4 km away on the coast near Bophut, and Na Muang Waterfall is 10.6 km away, inland in the island's interior.

For a day out, combine the Big Buddha with the fishing village of Bophut, which keeps a quieter, village-like feel than Chaweng, with its harbour and fishing boats. Na Muang Waterfall makes a half-day outing into the island's interior, and the return to Chaweng's beach and restaurants is a relaxed way to end the day. Chaweng Yai Beach is an easy place to finish the day, with the bars and restaurants of the beach road a short walk away from the sand.
