Chaofa Pier, a ferry pier in Krabi Town, and the Andaman Art Museum are close by as well. For a longer outing, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a cave temple on a hillside, 6.6 km away, and Railay Beach, reached only by longtail boat, is 10.6 km away.

Krabi International Airport is 7.9 km away. A good day could begin at Tiger Cave Temple, where a long staircase climbs the hillside to the caves, and end with a walk through the evening market in town. Boat trips to Railay and the islands can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy season.
