Apache Beach House is on Ko Phi Phi, an island in the Andaman Sea, close to Ton Sai village and its pier. Ton Sai is the main point where boats arrive, and every trip to and from the island ends with a crossing by sea. The area mixes village lanes, small shops and bars with bays that have beaches on both sides of the village. Most visitors come for the sea, the bays and the boat trips to the nearby islands.
Viewpoint 1 is 300 m away, a lookout over the bays, and Loh Dalum Beach is 750 m from the hostel, on the bay of the same name. Ton Sai Pier, 800 m away, is where boats to and from the mainland leave, and the Tsunami Building is just 50 m from the hostel. Phi Phi Market, a local market for everyday goods, is also close by, and the sights are near enough to reach on foot.
A good day can start at the lookout over the bays, followed by a swim at Loh Dalum Beach and a walk through the village in the afternoon. Several bars are within a few hundred metres, so an evening drink is easy to find. The village has plenty of places to eat and drink. In the rainy months the sea can be rough, and boat trips may be cancelled.
