Boat trips from Ao Nang also go to Poda and Tup islands, which are popular for snorkelling. Farther off, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.1 km away, sits on a hillside and is reached by a long staircase.

A good day could start with a longtail boat to Railay, then a trip out to the islands. In the rainy season, rough seas can stop boat trips. Krabi International Airport is 18.8 km from the hotel, and the Ao Nang Night Market, 1.1 km away, has stalls for an evening walk. After a day on the water, it is a good place to browse in the evening, with the beach a short distance away on foot.
