Aonang Silver Orchid Resort

Aonang Silver Orchid Resort has rooms that look out onto the street, the pool or the mountains. Every room sleeps at least two guests, and some sleep up to four. Some rooms have a pool view and others a mountain view. The beds include single, double, queen and king options.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, and several have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV or satellite channels. A few rooms include a mini bar, a refrigerator or a desk, and some also have an electric kettle, a telephone and a window that opens. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Ao Nang is a beach village on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with limestone cliffs rising above the bay. The beach road runs along the village with the cliffs behind it, and the village has a lively evening atmosphere. The sand and the boat piers are close to the resort, which fits a beach holiday with boat trips out to sea. The village is compact, so the beach and the night market are easy to reach on foot.

Ao Nang Beach is 850 m from the resort, and the Ao Nang Night Market is 1.6 km away. Boats leave from the pier for Railay Beach and Phra Nang Cave, a shrine cave on the same peninsula. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple climbed by a long staircase, lies 14.5 km away, and Krabi International Airport is 18.1 km from the resort.

A good day could start with a swim at Ao Nang Beach, continue by boat to Railay for the cliffs and the caves, and end at the night market in the evening, where stalls sell food and goods along the lanes. In the rainy season, rough seas can disrupt boat trips to the islands and the peninsula.
