Aonang Duangjai Resort

The rooms at Aonang Duangjai Resort include a 40 m² Duangjai Suite and two 36 m² deluxe rooms, the Deluxe Pool Side and the Deluxe Top Double Room. The Duangjai Suite and both of these deluxe rooms have a pool view. Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, a coffee and tea maker, an in-room safe box and free bottled water.

Several rooms sleep up to three guests, and the Double Luxury sleeps up to five. Extra beds depend on the room you choose and carry an additional charge, while cots and cribs are available on request. Guests travelling with young children can ask for a baby cot or crib, and children aged 2 to 3 stay free when using the existing bedding. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a children's swimming pool, a hot tub and a garden. A massage service is also offered. Restaurants serve buffet and continental breakfast, and there is a coffee shop, a poolside bar and room service.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province in southern Thailand, set along a long, curving bay with limestone cliffs rising behind it. Aonang Duangjai Resort is 290 m from the beach, in the busy part of town, where much of the life runs along the beach road. The beach road is lined with tour offices, guesthouses and street-food stalls, so the town stays lively into the evening.

The Ao Nang Night Market is 200 m away, and Noppharathara Beach is a short walk from the resort. Ao Nang Beach is the place to catch long-tail boats to the islands and to Railay, a peninsula of cliffs and beaches reached mainly by boat. Railay Beach is 3.7 km away, and Phra Nang Cave, a sea cave with a beach inside it, lies on the same peninsula.

For a day out, take a long-tail boat to Poda or Tup island for swimming and snorkelling, or go to Railay to walk among the cliffs. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is 15.1 km away, a hilltop temple reached by a long stairway. Krabi International Airport is 19.2 km from the resort, and the Hong Islands, a group of limestone islands with lagoons, lie farther out by boat.
