Ao Nang Beach is 400 m from the hotel, and the Ao Nang Night Market, with its food stalls, is 350 m away. The Ao Nang Beach Pier is the departure point for boats to Railay and the islands, and Railay Beach, 3.2 km away, is reached only by boat and is known for its towering limestone cliffs. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15 km away, sits on a hillside reached by a long staircase.

A good day starts with a longtail boat from the pier to Railay, then a stop at Phra Nang Cave and a visit to the nearby Poda and Tup islands. Boat trips can be disrupted when the sea is rough, mostly in the rainy months, so an early start is usually the easiest way to see the bay and its tall cliffs.
