Ao Nang Beach is about 750 m away, and from the sand the longtail boats set off for Railay Beach, about 1.8 km from the hotel. Railay is reached by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs and for Phra Nang Cave. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple complex, lies about 14.6 km away, and Krabi International Airport is about 18 km away, reached by road.

A day could start on Ao Nang Beach and continue with a longtail boat trip to Poda Island or Tup Island, both of them offshore. In the evening, the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is an easy choice, with food and local goods along the road. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher, which affects boat trips to the islands.
