Longtail boats leave from the piers for Railay, a peninsula reached mainly by boat, where Phra Nang Cave sits in the limestone cliffs. Railay is about 4 km away. A good day out starts with a longtail boat from the pier to Railay and the beaches around its cliffs, and Poda and Tup islands are also visited on boat trips from Ao Nang. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, which is more common in the rainy season. Evenings can end at the night market, a short walk from the apartment's streets back to the property.
