Anyavee Aonang Bay

The rooms at Anyavee Aonang Bay measure between 35 and 40 m² and come with a bathtub, a hair dryer, an electric kettle and toiletries. Several rooms have garden views, two overlook the pool, and one has a city view. Guests can choose rooms for two or for up to three people.

Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and a baby cot is available on request. Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, where a long shoreline of guesthouses, dive shops and longtail boats sits below limestone cliffs. The resort is 390 m from the beach, in a part of town with street-food stalls and massage shops along the streets close to the bay. Guesthouses, hotels and bars line the main road, so the area suits guests who want a lively seaside neighbourhood with boat trips close at hand.

Krabi International Airport is 19 km away, and the Ao Nang Beach Pier, a ferry terminal, serves boat trips to nearby islands. Railay Beach, a limestone-cliff beach usually reached by longtail boat, is 3.2 km away, and Phra Nang Cave, a cave beach on the same peninsula, lies close to it. Tiger Cave Temple, a Buddhist temple complex on a hillside near Krabi town, is 15 km away and makes a quieter contrast to the beaches of the bay.

A good day starts with a longtail boat trip from the pier, either to Railay or to the islands of Poda and Tup, and ends with an evening at the night market. Between trips, the beach and the shops along the bay road are close by, so the resort works equally well for a relaxed afternoon by the pool and a full day on the water.
