Anurak Lodge

Anurak Lodge offers bungalows, safari tents and guest rooms, and wireless internet access is part of every room. The rooms range from 18 to 30 m² and sleep between three and five guests.

Bed set-ups include king, queen, double and single beds, depending on the room, and some rooms also have heating and non-smoking. The tents and bungalows give the stay a forested setting close to the national parks.

The front desk offers dry cleaning and laundry, luggage storage and a safe deposit box, and housekeeping is provided daily. Tour and ticket assistance is available, and bicycles can be rented.

Internet access is available in public areas, and parking on site is available. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for an extra charge, and valet parking is offered.

Phanom is a small rural area of Surat Thani province in southern Thailand, where the landscape is rainforest, hills and reservoirs rather than beaches. Small hamlets such as Ban Saphan Tao lie close to the lodge, and the trails of the national park are close to the rural roads. Villages and farms are spread across the surrounding countryside, and the area feels quiet and rural.

The best-known nearby destination is Khao Sok National Park, 11.8 km away, with its old rainforest and waterways. Klong Phanom National Park is 15.4 km away, and Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir ringed by hills, lies 16.5 km away, with the Ratchaprapha Dam near it. Wat Tham Wararam, a pagoda in the hills, is about a kilometre from the lodge, and Surat Thani Airport is 58.2 km away.

A good day could start at the Wat Tham Wararam pagoda and continue along the trails of Klong Phanom National Park, where a campsite and forest viewpoints lie less than a kilometre from the lodge. For a longer day, Khao Sok National Park is the main destination, and its rainforest trails and waterways make it a full day out. Guests who spend the morning in the forest can return to the lodge in the afternoon to rest in the garden or on the terrace.
