Ao Nang is a busy beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long stretch of sand, a lively evening market and a mix of restaurants, massage shops and street-food stalls along the main road. Longtail boats are part of daily life here, leaving from the beach for the islands and the coves nearby. Krabi International Airport is 19 km away and Phuket International Airport is 56.6 km away, and the resort is reached by road from both.
Noppharathara Beach is 850 m from the resort, and the Ao Nang Night Market is a short walk away. Ao Nang Beach is 1.4 km away. Railay Beach, reached only by longtail boat, has limestone cliffs, and Phra Nang Cave is nearby on the same peninsula. Poda Island and Tup Island are reached by boat from Ao Nang, and the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), with its long staircase up a hillside, is 14.6 km away.
A good day out is a longtail boat trip to Railay and Phra Nang Cave, followed by an evening at the Ao Nang Night Market. For a quieter morning, the Tiger Cave Temple is a drive inland from the coast, and the climb to its shrine is the highlight of the trip.
