Anda Lanta Resort

Floor areas at Anda Lanta Resort run from 35 to 72 m², and some rooms overlook the garden while others face the beach or the hills. Several rooms have a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and an electric kettle, and each room comes with its own bed set-up.

Bed set-ups include double, queen and king beds as well as pairs of single beds, and one villa can host up to five guests.

The resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a spa with massage and sauna, and a private beach. There is a bar, and restaurants serving buffet, continental and vegetarian breakfast, along with a la carte dishes and room service.

Guests can go canoeing, diving, fishing, hiking or snorkelling, and tours can be arranged. The resort also has a library, a garden, a terrace and bicycle parking, car hire is available, an airport transfer is offered, and laundry service and luggage storage are available.

Ba Kantiang Bay is on Koh Lanta Yai, the largest island of the Koh Lanta group in the Andaman Sea, in Krabi province. The island is reached by boat from the mainland, and the resort's private beach gives guests direct access to the sea, so the coast is the focus of a stay here. Long Beach and Khlong Khong Beach are long stretches of sand further along the island's coast.

Klong Jark Beach lies 50 m from the resort, and Klong Jark Waterfall is 450 m away. Bamboo Bay is also close by, and the Relax Lanta Viewpoint, 550 m from the resort, looks out over the surrounding coast. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 2.6 km away, covers forest and coastline and is one of the island's best-known protected areas. Several dive centres are a short distance away.

A day could begin at Klong Jark Beach, pass the waterfall and the Relax Lanta Viewpoint, and end in the national park, which is reached by road. Scooters and songthaews are the usual way to move around the island, and canoeing, diving, fishing and snorkelling are all possible from here. After a day on the water, the resort's bar and restaurants are close at hand.
