Other beaches such as Kata and Nai Harn are a drive away, so a hired car or a taxi is the practical way to reach them.

A good day could start at the resort pool and a walk along Bangtao Beach, then continue to the Phuket FantaSea show or to the Bang-Tao Night Market, which is 550 m away and has stalls in the evening. Bangtao Beach is a long stretch of sand, so there is plenty of room for an evening walk along it after the show.
