The rooms at Ananda Lanta Resort measure between 40 and 50 m² and come in several types, from Superior and Deluxe rooms to Deluxe rooms with sea views and a Deluxe Triple. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park around the islands, is 19.1 km away, and Khlong Chak Waterfall lies inland in the island's forest. Krabi International Airport is 52.4 km away on the mainland, and reaching Koh Lanta from there involves a ferry crossing, since the island is not linked to the mainland by road.

A day could start with a swim at Klong Dao Beach, followed by a walk to Kantiang Bay, and a longer excursion to the national park for those who want to explore the island's interior. Lanta Old Town, the island's historic settlement, lies 12.8 km away and gives a different view of the island. Rough seas in the rainy season can disrupt boat crossings, so check the ferry situation before you travel.
