Rooms at Ampersand Resort Koh Samui measure between 46 and 64 m² and most sleep two guests, while one room sleeps up to four. Garden, bay, sea and ocean views are offered across the rooms and suites, and several rooms have a king bed. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Thongson Bay Beach, a stretch of sand on the bay, is 900 m away. Wat Plai Laem, a temple on the coast, is 2.1 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large statue on a hill, is 2.2 km from the resort. Samui Airport is 4.6 km away, and the Fisherman's Village Bophut Walking Street, with its shops and restaurants, is 5.2 km away. The resort also offers an airport transfer, so reaching the resort from the airport is straightforward.

A good day could begin at the temple on the coast, then move on to the Big Buddha before an afternoon at the resort's pool or on its beach. For a day trip further afield, Na Muang Waterfall lies inland and is a longer journey from the resort, and for shopping, the Central Festival Samui centre is also worth a visit. The walking street at Fisherman's Village is a good place for an evening stroll after a day on the sand.
