Amici Miei Hotel

Many hotels, guesthouses and restaurants sit close to the sand along the town's streets.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is 150 m away, a large mall with shops and food outlets. Bangla Road, the best-known street for bars and clubs, is 200 m off, and the night market is 250 m away with evening street food stalls. Phuket International Airport is a drive away, and Patong's nightlife is concentrated along Bangla Road.

The Big Buddha on its hilltop and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) make a full day out from Patong. Kalim Beach next to Patong and Kata Beach further along the coast are two other beaches worth a visit. Phuket Town, the island's old town, has Sino-Portuguese shophouses and is reached by road. The Big Buddha stands on Nakkerd Hills, a drive from Patong, and the trip makes a good half-day with the temple. Day trips from Patong to the temple and the hill are easy to plan.
