Amazing Inn Koh Tao

All rooms at Amazing Inn Koh Tao have air conditioning, and their sizes run from 35 to 50 m². Each room sleeps two or three guests, and the beds include king beds and, in one room, a single bed alongside a king.

Rooms that sleep three are the Triple Deluxe and the Standard Triple, and the Suite is the room with a street view. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The inn has restaurants and free Wi-Fi in all rooms, and internet access is also available.

For time on the water, guests can go diving, snorkelling or fishing, and hiking is possible on the island. Tours can be arranged, and the inn also has a concierge desk and a cash withdrawal service.

Chalok Baan Kao is one of several small bays on Ko Tao, a hilly island in the Gulf of Thailand known for diving and snorkelling. The area suits guests who come for the water, the dive centres and the walking trails. Ko Tao is small, but its hills make some walks steep, so the bay is a good place to base a few days of short walks and swims.

The nearest beach is a short walk away, and Haad Ao Mae is 800 m from the inn. Sai Nuan Beach is 1.1 km away, and Sairee Beach, the island's main stretch of sand, is 1.5 km away. Dive centres are close enough to reach on foot, and the Pimp My Dive Scuba Dive Center is 500 m from the inn.

A good first day is a walk up to one of the island's viewpoints, such as Cindy's Tower, followed by an afternoon in the water. Hiking trails wind through the hills, and they vary in difficulty from easy strolls to steeper climbs above the bays. Boat crossings to the island can be rougher in the rainy months, so the sea is worth a look before a trip to the outer islands.
