Al's Resort

Every room at Al's Resort has a private bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, toiletries, towels and bathrobes, and wireless internet access. The rooms measure between 25 and 56 m², from twin rooms and studios to suites and deluxe villas, so there is a range of sizes and views to choose from.

Garden-view and courtyard-view rooms sleep up to three guests, and the sea-view twin room sleeps two. Some rooms also have a bathtub, a telephone, a TV or satellite and cable channels, and the view depends on the room you book. Rooms can also have air conditioning, blackout curtains, an in-room safe and a mini bar.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden and a terrace. Restaurants, a poolside bar and room service are available, and breakfast is served a la carte with Asian and continental choices. A convenience store is also available.

Chaweng is the busiest beach area on Koh Samui, with a long sandy shore and a mix of restaurants, bars and shops behind it. Al's Resort sits in this lively part of the island, where the evening streets are busy and the beach is close. Hotels, restaurants and shops line the roads, and the atmosphere changes between the daytime on the sand and the evenings in the streets.

Chaweng Yai Beach is 350 m from the hotel, and the Walking street and the Night Market are nearby, so the evening streets are close to the hotel. Samui Airport is 2.1 km away and is on the island itself, so guests who fly in reach the hotel by road, and an airport transfer service is also available.

A full day on Koh Samui might start on Chaweng Yai Beach, continue to the Big Buddha, 4.6 km from the hotel, and finish with the evening market at Fisherman's Village in Bophut. Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue beside a lake, is also 4.6 km away and makes a good stop. For a different kind of day out, Na Muang Waterfall lies in the island's interior, away from the busy beach strip.
