A day here can start with Sanjao Sam San and a wander through the old town, then a visit to one of the museums in the afternoon. The Phuket Trickeye Museum and the Thavorn Phuket Museum are also in the area, so the town's museums can fill a whole afternoon, and the Peranakan Museum is only a short distance from the old town itself. On Sundays, the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market is worth an evening visit. Wat Chalong and Patong are best reached by taxi or hired car, since they are further away.
