Alama Sea Village Resort

The rooms at Alama Sea Village Resort include a Superior Room with Balcony, a Private Pool Villa and several suites and cottages, such as the One Bedroom Suite Cottage and the Two-Bedroom Pool Access room. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a safe box, a refrigerator and a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer.

Several rooms have a view, including mountain views, pool views and nature views. The Private Pool Villa covers 153 m² for up to four guests, the One Bedroom Suite Cottage measures 54 m² and sleeps up to three guests, and the 2 Bed Suite Cottage measures 84 m² for up to five guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a spa with sauna, and massage. Restaurants serve Asian, Continental and halal breakfast as well as lunch and dinner, with a la carte dishes, a coffee shop and room service.

Alama Sea Village Resort is on Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi province in southern Thailand that is reached from the mainland by ferry. The area around Ba Kan Tiang has a village setting, with the sea and the hills close together and a small bay nearby. Most people come here for the beaches and for the diving close to the island's piers.

The nearest beach is Ba Kan Tiang Beach, 750 m from the resort, and the small Ao Dong Ta bay is 250 m away. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a cave in the hills, is 3.7 km away, and Lanta Old Town, the island's traditional old town, is 4.4 km away. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, the island's protected area, lies 4.7 km away, and the Statue of Koh Lanta stands a few hundred metres from the resort.

A day could start with a snorkelling or diving trip from the island's piers, then a walk to the Statue of Koh Lanta and an afternoon at Khao Mai Kaew Cave. The island's national park and old town are both within a short drive, so a day out can cover several sights. Boat services to and from the island can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy months.
