Ai Phuket Hostel

Rooms at Ai Phuket Hostel go from a double room to dormitory beds and a family room for up to six guests. The double measures 14 m² and sleeps up to three guests. The family room measures 16 m² and has three bunk beds. Several rooms have air conditioning, and some have a city view or a shared bathroom.

The mix of Chinese, Portuguese and Thai architecture gives the streets a distinctive look, and the area is a different side of the island from the beach resorts of Patong and Karon. The surrounding streets have many older buildings and small shops, and the Phuket Walking Street is close by.

Phuket Old Town, the Phuket Thai Hua Museum and the Sino-Portugese Houses are all within walking distance, and the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market is 200 m away. Ban Boran Textiles and the Colourful houses are also close by, on the same streets. The Phuket Town local bus station is 900 m from the hostel, and Phuket International Airport is 26.6 km away.

Chaithararam Temple, also known as Wat Chalong, is 7.1 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples. Patong Beach and the nightlife of Bangla Road are a longer trip away, while Karon, Kata and Nai Harn beaches are further on, each with its own stretch of sand. A good day could combine a morning at the temple with an afternoon in the old town and its museums.
