AB House

The double rooms at AB House measure 22 m² and each has one double bed for up to two guests. All of them have a mountain view and air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels.

The area is hilly and green, with temples, animal parks and waterfalls in the surroundings, and the streets are calmer than those of the beach resorts. The beach resorts of Patong, Karon and Kata are the main draw of the west coast.

Tiger Kingdom, the tiger park, is 950 m away. Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is one of the most important Buddhist temples on the island, and the Big Buddha on the Nakkerd Hills stands 8.7 km from the property. Patong Beach, the best-known resort beach on Phuket, is 4.4 km away, with the Jungceylon shopping centre and Bangla Road in the same town. Karon Beach, 7 km away, and Kata Beach, further south along the west coast, are the next stops for a beach day.

Because the beaches, temples and parks are spread across the island, a car or taxi makes the day easier. A good plan could start at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then continue to Patong for the beach and a meal. Phuket International Airport is 23.5 km away.
