A good day in the area starts with the old town on foot, moves on to the museums, and on a Sunday ends at the night market. For a beach day, Patong Beach is 10.5 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 26.8 km away, so a taxi or hired car from the old town is the easier way to get there.
