8Icon Ao Nang Krabi

Railay Beach, 3.6 km away, is reached only by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs, with Phra Nang Cave on the same peninsula. Poda Island, 7.5 km away, is a boat trip for snorkelling and beaches, and Tup Island is also reached by boat from the same shore. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.9 km away, is a hillside temple with a long staircase up to its shrines. The Hong Islands are a longer day trip by boat.

A good day could begin with a swim at Noppharathara Beach, continue with a longtail boat to Railay for the cliffs and Phra Nang Cave, and end at the Ao Nang Night Market, which is close to the hotel. Krabi International Airport is 19.1 km from the hotel, and boats to Railay and the islands leave from the beach and pier at Ao Nang, so the sea is the main route for day trips. Sea conditions can change boat schedules in the rainy months.
