4U Resort Samui

The rooms at 4U Resort Samui include garden-view rooms, rooms with a sea or ocean view, and a 60 m² villa with a balcony or terrace. Some rooms sleep up to four guests and others up to two, and rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with toiletries, depending on the room.

Beds include queen and king beds. The Family Deluxe pairs a king bed with a single bed, and the villa has two bunk beds alongside its king bed. Guests can also find a desk, a closet, an in-room safe box or a refrigerator in some rooms, and the bungalow has board games and puzzles.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Food and drink include a restaurant, a snack bar, a poolside bar, happy hour and room service, and a continental breakfast is offered, which can also be served in the room.

For leisure there are a game room, a library, a playground, a kids club and babysitting, and non-motorised water sports are offered. Tours can be arranged, and the resort has an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire and a taxi service.

Practical services include a concierge, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, currency exchange, cash withdrawal and an ironing service, along with daily housekeeping and a convenience store. On-site parking and bicycle parking are available, and the resort is wheelchair accessible.

4U Resort Samui is in Lamai, a long beach area on Koh Samui known for its rock formations and its lively evening scene. The resort is set among gardens, and its rooms look out over the greenery or the sea, with the coast a short walk away. Baan Lamai village is nearby, and the coast also has dive centres.

Within 150 m of the resort, Hin Ta and Hin Yai are two rock formations known locally as Grandfather's and Grandmother's Rocks. Rocky's Beach is 550 m from the resort, while Lamai Beach, the main beach of the area, is 1.9 km away. The Lamai Viewpoint is 750 m from the resort, the Chedi Sila Ngu pagoda is nearby, and the Lamai Night Market is also in the area and opens in the evening.

Koh Samui is an island, reached by air or by ferry from the mainland, and Samui Airport is 10.9 km from the resort. The resort offers an airport transfer. For a relaxed day, start at the rock formations and the beach, then head to the night market in the evening. Na Muang Waterfall, reached by road from Lamai, is a good outing for a longer day, and if you want to go under the water, the dive centres on the coast are close by.
