The villa has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, arranged as one private house for up to eight guests. Its Private Villa offers air conditioning, and its beds come as a choice of bed set-ups.

Baan Madua Wan is a village area on Ko Pha-ngan, the island in the Gulf of Thailand that belongs to Surat Thani province. The island is hilly and green, with beaches around much of its coastline and waterfalls and viewpoints inland, so getting around by road is part of the stay. Roads wind up through the hills, linking the villa with the island's beaches and viewpoints.

Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 4.7 km away, is one of the island's best-known bays, and Wat Khao Tham, a temple 900 m away, is the nearest sight to the villa. Dom Sila Viewpoint, 1.4 km away, gives a lookout over the hills, while Diamond Muay Thai, a Muay Thai training camp 5.2 km away, is a well-known local stop. The waterfalls of the interior make a good contrast to a day on the sand.

Samui Airport is 21.6 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, and Ko Pha-ngan has no airport of its own, so arrivals reach the island by boat. A day could begin at Wat Khao Tham, continue to Dom Sila Viewpoint and finish at Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, with a waterfall visit fitted in between. Walking is not the way to cover that distance, so a scooter or a car makes the day easier to plan.
