Zimbei Cozytel Khaolak

Zimbei Cozytel Khaolak offers double and deluxe rooms, several of them with a double bed. Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, depending on the room you choose.

Khao Lak is a coastal area on the Andaman side of Thailand, in Phang Nga province. A long beach runs along the shore with forested hills rising inland, and the Khaolak Beach area is the stretch of coast where Zimbei Cozytel Khaolak stands, about 320 m from the sand. The area works well for slow days by the sea, with the hills close behind.

Inland, Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park is a forested park with trails, and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall lies 4.5 km away. The Tsunami Museum, 3.1 km away, recalls the 2004 tsunami that struck this stretch of shore. Sunset Beach and Nang Thong Beach are nearby, and further along the coast Bang Niang Beach and Hat Lek are within a few kilometres, with the Khao Lak View Point just 600 m from the hostel. Bang Niang Market, a local market, is also within a few kilometres.

A good day could start on the beach, continue inland to the forest trails of Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, and finish with a visit to the Tsunami Museum. For the islands, Similan National Park, 7.5 km away, is reached by boat, and those boat trips depend on the season.
