Zaya Beach Club & Resort

All the villas at Zaya Beach Club & Resort measure 60 m². Most have a king bed. The Family Pool Villa offers a choice of bed set-ups that includes a sofa bed. Depending on the villa, the view is of the mountains, the garden or the courtyard.

Most villas sleep up to two guests and include a private bathroom with toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. The Deluxe Villa 1 King Bed Terrace Courtyard View and the Luxury Villa Beach View both have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a separate shower and bathtub. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Zaya Beach Club & Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a massage service and a garden. Alongside the restaurant there is a bar, a coffee shop, room service and food delivery, and a kids meal is also available.

For getting around, there is free parking on site as well as valet parking, and the resort offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service and tours that can be arranged. Concierge, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, daily housekeeping, laundry service and ironing service are also offered.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also covers the public areas. Guests can take up non-motorised water sports and canoeing, play golf on the course on site, or join the on-site entertainment and the nightclub.

Zaya Beach Club & Resort stands in Choeng Mon, a coastal area of Koh Samui where village houses and fishing boats sit close to the sand. The nearest stretch of sand is Plai Laem beach, about 450 m away, and Samui International Airport, on the island itself, is 3.3 km from the resort. The area keeps a village feel, with Wat Laem Suwannaram, a pagoda on the same coast, close by.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple complex with a large Guanyin statue, is 750 m away, and the Big Buddha, a seated Buddha statue overlooking the bay near Bophut, is 1.1 km away. It is one of the island's best-known landmarks. Fisherman's Village, in Bophut, is 4.5 km away, and its harbour has shops, cafés and a walking street along the water. The fish market at Bangrak, beside the fishing harbour, is also nearby.

Koh Samui has a network of roads, so getting around is usually by car, scooter or songthaew, the shared open-sided pick-up trucks that run along the main roads. A day out can combine the temples near Plai Laem with the Mermaid Statue and the Bangrak market, or head inland to Na Muang Waterfall, which takes a little longer to reach.
