The neighbourhood is a mix of local lanes, small markets and temples, well away from the central tourist districts of the city, and it works well before or after a flight. The area is a practical choice after a long journey, with the airport close by.

The Wat Pluk Sattha pagoda is 300 m from the property, and the Phra Chom Klao train station is 800 m away. The Suvarnabhumi Flea Market is 950 m away, and Lat Krabang Hospital is 1.5 km away. Central sights such as the Grand Palace are 30.3 km away, so a day in the old city is a longer trip across Bangkok.

A good first day could begin with a walk to the Wat Pluk Sattha pagoda and a look at the local markets. Suvarnabhumi Airport lies in the same district, so early flights are simple to plan. Bangkok's larger shopping centres and markets are a longer trip from here, so they are best planned as a separate day. The studio's balcony and the outdoor seating area make an easy place to end the day.
