YIng Yang 3BR House Sawankhalok

The whole villa is rented to one group and measures 155 m², with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and garden views. It sleeps up to six guests and has its own kitchen, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.

Guests have a choice of bed set-ups, and the villa comes with towels, linens, a hair dryer, toiletries and an iron, as well as a walk-in shower and a private bathroom. Cots for infants can be requested from the property, subject to availability.

The villa has free parking on site, and its kitchen comes with a microwave, a refrigerator, a stove, dishes and dining utensils. Coffee or tea is available in the kitchen area, and pets are allowed.

Inside the house you will find air conditioning, a TV, an iron, a washer, a desk or workspace, linens, towels, a hair dryer, body wash and toiletries. Bicycles are available, and the villa also has a doorman.

Outside, the villa has a private entrance, a balcony or terrace and a garden or backyard, and internet access is available. Guests can come and go through their own door, and the garden and terrace are part of the house.

The house is in Sawankhalok, a small town in Sukhothai province in central Thailand. The town is known for its historic ceramic kilns and old temples, and the area is for travellers who come for the historic sites rather than for beaches. Sukhothai was the first Thai kingdom, so its ruins are the main reason to visit.

Wat Sawankharam, a historic temple, is 100 m away, and the Sawanvoranayok National Museum, which covers the history of the old town, is close by. The Sawankhalok railway station is 950 m from the house, and Sukhothai Airport is 9.9 km away, a small airport serving the Sukhothai region. Si Satchanalai Historical Park, one of the ancient cities of the Sukhothai kingdom, is 12.4 km away, so it can be part of a day trip from the house.

A full day could start at Sukhothai Historical Park, 36.2 km away, where the ruins of the 13th-century capital of the Sukhothai kingdom are a UNESCO World Heritage site, and then move on to Si Satchanalai. Back in Sawankhalok, the Sawankhalok Street Art is an easy stop on the way back to the villa. For a longer stay, the villa gives you a base for several days of visits to the ruins.
