XL PATONG Hotel

Around the hotel, the Jungceylon Shopping Center is close at hand, and the town's shops and cafes are nearby. Further afield, Freedom Beach is a quieter cove further along the coast. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the best-known temples on the island and is 6.1 km away, while the Big Buddha Phuket, a large seated Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 6.7 km away.

A day could start on Patong Beach and continue to the temples and the Big Buddha in the south of the island, then return to Bangla Road in the evening. Phuket International Airport is 25.1 km from the hotel, and Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the trip from the mainland is made by road. Patong's beaches and temples are all within a day's outing, so the hotel makes a practical starting point for seeing the island.
