Bangla Road is the town's nightlife street, lined with bars and clubs, while Jungceylon is a large shopping centre with shops and restaurants. Bangla Road also has street-food stalls and massage shops along the way, and the walk back to the hotel from Patong Beach is a short one. For temples and viewpoints, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) and Big Buddha Phuket are a short drive away, the Big Buddha at 8 km and the temple at 6.9 km.

A good day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and end with a walk along Bangla Road, where the evening crowds make the street busy until late. For a change of scene, Karon Beach is 4.6 km away and offers a different stretch of sand.
