Win Win Resort

The rooms at Win Win Resort offer a choice of bed set-ups, from rooms with a king bed to a family room with a king bed and a single bed, and a room with two single beds. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, linen, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator with bottled water, depending on the room you book.

Two of the rooms have a nature view, and the family room and the 40 m² suite sleep up to three guests. Some rooms have soundproofing, and toiletries and towels are provided in some of the guest bathrooms. Each room is described below with its own size, bedding and facilities.

Guests can use a 24-hour front desk, and the resort offers an airport transfer service. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and the public areas also have WiFi. Parking is available on site.

Daily housekeeping is provided, and pets are allowed. Some rooms have a refrigerator, bottled water, toiletries and towels, and the resort also has family rooms with more than one bed. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and the family room has a king bed and a single bed.

Win Win Resort is in Tambon Na Thung, on the edge of Chumphon, a provincial town on the Gulf of Thailand coast in the south. The town is quieter than the big beach resorts on the peninsula and has a working Thai feel, with museums, temples and markets rather than a resort strip. The railway runs through the town, so trains from Bangkok and other southern cities reach it.

The Chumphon National Museum and Arphakorn Kiattiwong Park are both 1.8 km from the resort, and old locomotives are displayed as monuments within about 2.8 km. The railway station and the bus terminal are also close by, while the Chumphon Night Market, 2.6 km from the resort, is the place for food and local goods after dark.

A good first day starts at the national museum and the park, then the night market after dark. For a beach day, Ao Phanang Tak is a further trip at 4.5 km, and the Wat Sala Loi pagoda is another stop for a quieter visit. The night market is for the evening, while the museum and the park suit the daytime. Chumphon is a practical base for travelling on through southern Thailand, with the railway and bus links close to the resort.
