Around the house, Wat Phu Khao Noi, a Buddhist pagoda, is 250 m away, and Wake Park Phangan, a wakeboarding park, is 600 m away. Further afield, Diamond Muay Thai, a Muay Thai training camp, is 1.9 km away, and the Ananda Yoga and Detox Center, a yoga and detox centre, is 1.8 km away. Ampawan Temple is also close to the house, so the temples are close at hand for a quiet morning.

A day here can combine time on Wok Tum beach with an afternoon at Diamond Muay Thai, or a visit to the Phangan Elephant Sanctuary, which is 2.2 km away. Wok Tum is a practical base for a stay that moves between the beach, the temples and the island's training camps, with the rest of the island reached by road from the village, so the beach and the temples are both easy to combine in a single day.
