WELLNESS of KOH TAO

All the rooms at WELLNESS of KOH TAO are dormitory-style, with one bunk bed for a single guest in each, and every room has air conditioning. Room sizes go from 16 m² to 90 m².

Two rooms come with a private bathroom and shower. The other two use a shared bathroom, with towels and a hair dryer provided. Each room has one bunk bed, for one guest.

The property has a 24-hour front desk, a laundry service and a convenience store on site, so the everyday basics are close at hand. A shared lounge and TV area offers a flat-screen TV, complimentary movies and on-site entertainment, and there is a terrace.

Tours, car hire and ticket services are offered, and massage is available. A doctor or nurse can be called on site, and English and Thai are spoken.

Lockers, a computer station and free parking on site are also available, and free Wi-Fi covers the rooms and the public areas. Bicycle parking is provided as well, so guests have several ways to get around the bay once they are settled in.

WELLNESS of KOH TAO is in Chalok Baan Kao, on the bay of the same name on Ko Tao. The beach is a short walk from the property. The surroundings include dive shops and small convenience stores, and the bay has a relaxed feel, with boats coming and going from the nearby pier.

Several beaches and viewpoints are close by. Aow Leuk Bay is 1.3 km away and Sairee Beach is 1.6 km, the island's best-known beach for divers. Cindy's Tower viewpoint is 950 m away, and Ocean Sound Yoga is 850 m. The Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 1.1 km away, so the ferry pier is close for both arrivals and departures.

Ko Tao has no bridge, so the last leg of the journey is by boat: guests usually fly to Samui or Chumphon and then take a ferry. For a day out, spend the morning on the nearby beaches, head to Cindy's Tower for the view, and finish with a visit to Ocean Sound Yoga. Sairee Beach, known for its diving, is a good place to finish the day, and the Lomprayah pier is close enough to make an early start to the other islands easy to plan.
