Rooms at WEG NaiThon Beach can have individual air conditioning, an in-room safe, a sofa, a seating area and a desk, and some have a balcony or terrace. Rooms can also have a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric kettle and a dining table.

The beach is less built-up than the busier resort strips, so an afternoon on the sand is easy to fit in between swims at the pool.

Layan Beach, 2.7 km away, is a calm bay with a viewpoint above the sand. Sirinat National Park, 4.1 km away, protects a stretch of coast where sea turtles come to nest, and it includes Nai Yang Beach. Getting around Phuket is easiest by car or taxi, since the beaches are spread out across the island.

Nai Thon Beach can make a relaxed start to the day, before a trip to Big Buddha Phuket, 25.9 km away, a large white statue on a hilltop with views over the island. In the evening, Phuket FantaSea, 11.3 km away, offers a cultural theme park with shows, and Patong Beach, 16.9 km away, is one of the island's busiest areas, with plenty of nightlife. Those who want a livelier evening can head there by car or taxi, and then return to the quieter setting of Naithon for the night.
