Around the villa, Phuket International Airport is 2.4 km away, and the Airplane Viewpoint at Maikhao Beach overlooks the beach where planes come in low over the sand. Naiyang national Park, 3.5 km away, has beaches and coastal forest, and Nai Yang Beach, a further stretch of sand, is also close by on the same coast. Phuket is linked to the rest of the island by road, so a car or taxi is the easiest way to reach the sights further afield.

A good day could start with a swim on Mai Khao Beach and a visit to the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation, then continue to Naiyang national Park for a long walk along the sand. The evening can end at the Ni Yang Night Market, a short trip from the park, where the food stalls are open into the evening and the local goods on sale make for an easy stop before dinner.
