Wanderlust Homestay Ranong

The rooms at Wanderlust Homestay Ranong all measure 40 m² and have mountain views and air conditioning. Each has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, along with an electric kettle, a coffee and tea maker, a hair dryer and a dining table.

Some rooms have two single beds and a futon, and others have a queen bed and a futon. Each room sleeps up to three guests, and linens and a socket near the bed are provided in every room, with a dining table alongside. A futon is included in every room alongside the main beds, and each room has its own private bathroom.

The property offers an airport transfer, a paid shuttle service, car hire, tours and ticket services. Free WiFi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, parking is free, and air conditioning is available in the public area too.

Wanderlust Homestay Ranong is in the town centre of Ranong, the provincial capital on Thailand's Andaman coast. The setting is a working town rather than a beach resort, with harbour life, a fish market and temples close to hand, so the stay is about town life as much as the coast. Shophouses and market stalls line many of the streets, and the waterfront at Pak Nam sits close to the fish market.

The Pak Nam Subdistrict Municipality Pier is 550 m away and the Ranong Fish Market is 900 m, so the waterfront and the market are close to each other and to the apartment. Wat Pak Nam Pracha Rangsarit, a Buddhist temple, is 1.2 km away, and Khao Pak Nam, a hill in the same area, is 2.1 km. The temple can be combined with a visit to the pier and the market on the same outing. The Ranong Bus Station is 4.1 km away for onward journeys.

A day in town can start at the market and the pier, continue to the temple and then climb the hill at Khao Pak Nam, all within a few kilometres of the apartment. Sea conditions in the rainy months can affect boat trips to the islands.
