W Station

Rooms at W Station measure between 22 and 35 m² and come with king, double or single beds, depending on the room. Several of them look out over the city. The hotel has rooms for two guests and one room that sleeps up to six, so small groups can book together in one reservation.

The Wongwian Yai BTS station is 500 m away, giving a Skytrain connection into central Bangkok, and the Pho Nimit BTS station is also nearby. The Grand Palace is 3.3 km away across the river, and Wat Arun, the tall riverside temple with its prang, is 2.7 km away on the Thonburi side. Khaosan Road is 4.3 km away for the bars and guesthouses of the backpacker quarter, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market lies 10.7 km away for a full day of shopping.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the old city, then take a river ferry back across to Asiatique - The Riverfront, a shopping and dining complex on the water. Back on the Thonburi side, the Wat Klang Market near the hotel is a good place for an evening meal and a look at everyday local life.
