Rooms at Vm1 Hostel run from dormitory beds to double, twin and family rooms. Rooms can have air conditioning and toiletries, and several come with a flat-screen TV or a mini bar.

Some rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, while the dormitories, the twin rooms and the private double room use a shared bathroom. Dormitory beds are single beds, the double rooms have a double bed each, and the family room has two double beds and sleeps up to four guests.

The Sanam Pao BTS Station is 550 m away, giving access to the Skytrain network, and Victory Monument, a landmark at a major junction, is nearby. The Wat Aphai Thayaram pagoda is close by too, while Chatuchak Weekend Market lies 3.5 km away and The Grand Palace 5.6 km away.

On a weekend, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the largest markets in Bangkok, and the Grand Palace complex with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha makes a full day of sightseeing. For something different, the Jim Thompson House, a teak residence now a museum, is 2.5 km away, and Khaosan Road, 4.7 km away, is a lively street of bars, street food and budget guesthouses in the evening. Wat Arun, a temple on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, makes a good addition to the same route, and the Asiatique riverfront complex, a shopping and dining area on the river, is another evening option.
