Villa Vipa

Villa Vipa is on Soi Naya, a side street in the Nai Harn area of Phuket. Nai Harn is a bay with a long sandy beach, and it is quieter than the resort strips of Patong. A convenience store, a cash machine and the Phuket Art Village are close to the villa, so the daily errands are easy to fit in around a day at the sea.

Nai Harn Beach is 1.6 km from the villa and Kata Beach is 3.2 km away, the next bay along. Big Buddha Phuket, the large white seated statue on a hilltop, is 4.3 km off, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), the island's best-known Buddhist temple complex, is 6.9 km away. With on-site parking at the villa, a car is the simplest way to reach the wider island.

A day could start with a swim at Nai Harn, then continue to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, before a meal at the Rawai fish market, which is one of the local food stops along the coast. Phuket is joined to the mainland by a road bridge, and the island's sights are all reached by road. Muay Thai gyms and a boxing club are close to the villa as well, so training sessions are an option alongside the beach.
